About AfriChoral

Our mission, vision, and the team behind the repository

Our Mission

AfriChoral is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of African choral music through digital archiving and open access. We believe that by collecting, cataloging, and sharing scores from across the continent, we can ensure these cultural treasures are accessible to choirs, conductors, and music educators worldwide.

Our repository serves as a bridge between traditional oral transmission and modern digital preservation, helping to secure the future of African choral traditions while making them accessible to new generations of performers and audiences.
